Half of 2024 is nearly about to end, and now Android 15 has made its entrance to all Google phones already. It brings smaller, more refined changes, with the top five features including Private Space, rich widget previews, improved volume sliders, partial screen recordings, and better notification management. Reports say by mid-September 2024, the Android 15 is going to be released to all of the Android phones.
Talking about the Highlights of the features:
Private Space: Talking about the first major feature, a separate section is introduced on your phone for top secret files and photos, which also can be used, when someone asks for your phone, and boom you can share a brand new phone, without risking your data to be seen by anyone. Also, it is like a secured phone, inside your tangible secure phone.
Rich widget previews: Now here you can say it is just another small update to Android 14, where all the Widgets, which are supported, will show actual content before even being added to the home screen of your phone.
Improved volume sliders: And now a feature, which has been lying on Samsung phones for the past 4 years to be approximate, where A full-screen overlay will display volume controls for different audio sources.
Partial screen recordings: This feature is something we were hoping for to come under the segment of phones, even for Apple users. But here Android came as a hero, listening to our minor quests. So, now we will be able to record specific apps or activities on your Android phones having the latest Android 15.
Better notification management: We always wished, that while we were in meetings or driving we could know whose message or call is it, without taking our phones out of our pockets. If yes, this feature came to your rescue as Adaptive vibrations, notification cool down, and custom vibration patterns can make a difference in enhancing the notification experience overall.
