Details leaked for new OnePlus Smartphone Set to Launch January: All Expected Specifications So Far

Design and Colour Options

In the last few days, OnePlus released official teasers of the new 13R series which involved two captivating colour options to choose from i.e. Astral Trail and Nebula Noir. OnePlus fans were amazed to see an eye-catching rear panel that was dominated by a circular camera module. This time the camera module is included with three sensors and an LED flash.

As per the leaked details from an insider, the OnePlus 13R’s display is going to be slim accompanied by uniform bezels and a hole-punch cut-out that would facilitate the functioning of the selfie camera. As usual, the phone’s right edge is equipped with a volume rocker and power button. This time the signature alert slider finds its place on the left of the display. As for the top edge, the IR sensor is rumored to be placed. The button edge might have a hosting place for a USB Type-C port, SIM card slot, speaker grille, and microphone.

Feature worth a glance

The processor for OnePlus 13R runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This chip is said to promise top-tier performance. Now with the hype of AI, this processor will support AI-powered features for photo editing and note-taking.

Battery backup has a support of 6,000mAh battery. Soon, it will be available for purchase on Amazon India. The leak suggests that the device’s specifications are as:

Most people believe that the OnePlus 13R might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, launched in China on December 26. Many speculated features of 13R were already present in Ace 5. Now, the debate is whether the same features would be carried forward or not. Techies are eagerly awaiting the launch to confirm.
